PHYSIC 637 Introduction to Stochastic Processes This class provides an introduction to the mathematical techniques required to model noisy systems, and shows how they are used in a variety of applications. These techniques are important in a diverse range of subjects, including neuroscience, cell biology, pattern formation in chemical reactions, physics of mesoscopic systems, quantitative finance and quantum measurement theory, to name but a few.
