ENGL 611 The Teaching of Literature This course develops a theory and practice for the teaching of literature, applicable to both secondary and post-secondary education. The class reads, discusses, and analyzes sample presentations on literary texts in a variety of genres. The course serves teachers, prospective teachers, and non-teachers who seek an introduction to literature from pedagogical points of view.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate students in ENGL only
