ENVSCI 657 Fluvial Hydrology This course will introduce the student to streamflow hydrology and fluvial processes. Topics will include field measurement techniques, the hydrodynamics of moving water, channel form, sediment transport and commonly used statistical methods such as flow duration and flood frequency analysis. Students will learn how these topics and techniques are linked and utilized in water management and river restoration.
Prerequisite(s): EEOS 601 or EEOS 261 or equivalent introductory statistics course
