COUNSL 660 College Readiness Counseling The purpose of this course is to prepare school counselors at all levels of practice to engage in equity-based college readiness counseling. Topics include aspirations and academic planning in elementary and middle school-aged children, the college exploration and selection process, college admissions processes and assessment, financial planning, and resources counselors, students, and parents can use in the process.
