Description: This course explores the theoretical and methodological problems of contemporary psychology-especially clinical psychology-in historical perspective. It provides a broad overview of the development of psychology as an independent discipline and of the various sub-specialties in the field; and it evaluates the significance of new movements and methods by examining intellectual antecedents and underlying assumptions.
Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisites: PSYCH 201 and a minimum of 60 credits
