Description: This introductory course focuses on the principles of early childhood education and early intervention including on facilities, staff, goals, and methodology of various programs such as child care, Head Start, and nursery school. Traditional and contemporary issues in early childhood education and early intervention approaches will be considered, and emphasis will be placed on meeting the needs of all children within the family culture.
