Description: This course seeks to examine the development of people of Hispanic descent, and to understand how this history intersects important junctures in US history. The course explores such topics as the formation of Latino groups; emigration, migration, and settlement; the impact of Latinos on US culture; and the development of pan-ethnic identities.
