Description:
A study of plant function with emphasis on nutrition, translocation, metabolism, signal transduction and gene expression, photosynthesis and respiration, hormonal controls during vegetative and reproductive growth, and responses to environmental signals and stresses. Note: Students who do not wish to take the laboratory portion of this course should register for BIOL 323 . (No student may take this course after successful completion of BIOL 323  or BIOL 212.)
