Description: This course focuses on various theoretical approaches to the development of language. Pragmatic, semantic, and syntactic aspects of language acquisition are studied in depth. The role of language-specific, cognitive, and social factors in the process of acquisition are considered, with reference to both normal and disordered populations.
Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: PSYCH 241 or PSYCH 356
