Description: Introduction to themes in drama. Close analytical reading of plays with special attention to context. Focus on character development, figurative language, setting, imagery and action. Please note: Students may receive credit either for this course or for ENGL C203 (The Nature of Literature: Drama), but not for both. Capabilities addressed: Critical reading, critical thinking, clear writing.
