Description: This course studies the development and construction of Iberian, Latin American and Afro-Luso-Brazilian cultures from antiquity to present. Taught in Spanish, the course examines topics such as religious and cultural diversity; dominant vs. marginalized groups; centralization vs. regional autonomy; and the ways these issues have manifested themselves through the ages.
