Description: A study of significant works of American fiction written in the first half of the 20th century. Major American modernists-such authors as James, Wharton, S Crane, Cather, Hughes, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Hurston, and Faulkner-helped to define the “American century” and to demonstrate the sustained achievement of modern American fiction.
Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: ENGL 200 or ENGL 201 or ENGL 202
