PSYCH 201 - Introduction to Behavioral Research 3 Credit(s) | Lecture | Course can be counted for credit once
Description: An introduction to the ways of discovering, describing and making warranted assertions about aspects of people and social life. The chief objectives are 1) to help students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become intelligent critics of research in the behavioral and social sciences, and 2) to give them a rudimentary understanding of the design and evaluation of scientific research. Statistical material is treated in a conceptual manner. Classroom work and course examinations concentrate equally on research design and research evaluation.
Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: PSYCH 100 or PSYCH 101
