Description: This course examines issues of identity that create processes of inclusion and exclusion. Issues of class, race, ethnicity, sex, gender, and sexuality are examined in the context of power and inequality. Readings include autobiographical materials, scholarly articles in sociology and other fields, and analytical essays.
