Description: A study of poetry, fiction, and drama by Native American, African American, Asian American, Latino/a, and Jewish American writers from a comparative perspective, exploring similarities and differences among the writers in their aesthetics-how they use language to express themselves-and politics-how themes like immigration, resistance, empowerment, activism, heritage, gender relations, sexuality, and family manifest themselves in the works.
