Description: A course aimed at developing an active command of the language and familiarity with contemporary German life and culture. Drawing on a variety of sources and materials, students discuss topics relevant to German-speaking cultures today; social and political issues; everyday life; art, film, literature. Activities may include journals and reports, debates, role-playing and performance. Taught in German.
