SOCIOL 352 - Criminological Statistics and Data Analysis 3 Credit(s) | Lecture | Course can be counted for credit once
Description: This course introduces students to common sources of data in criminological research and to methods of data analysis. The purpose of the course is to teach student show to analyze social scientific data, using crime and the criminal justice system as the substantive focus. In addition to basic statistical techniques, the course will introduce mapping and qualitative data analysis, and discuss their application to criminological research. Students who receive credit for Sociology 350 may not receive credit for this course.
