Description: Psychological theories about women from Freud to the present are examined with emphasis placed on biological and sociocultural perspectives as they have influenced the development of a psychology of women. Special attention is paid to the developmental process and the unique issues and concerns of the female infant, child, adolescent, young adult, and older woman.
