Description: This course explores philosophy through the lens of Caribbean thought. It will look closely at some of the most fundamental questions in the history of Caribbean thought and culture. Students will consider the meaning of the Caribbean as a geopolitical space, identities forged and conceived of in the Caribbean, social and political philosophies that emerge as a result of colonialism and globalization.
