MSIS 619 - Systems Analysis and Design 3 Credit(s) | Lecture | Graded Not repeatable for credit
Description: The basic premise of the course is the analysis and logical design of information systems development to support business process. Object-oriented software development is now mature. The technology and the acceptance of the object-oriented development have moved far faster in the marketplace than in the classroom. The theory has been tempered and enriches by experience and by experiments. From modeling to analysis and from design to programming, object-oriented methods and tools have proven to be winners. This course provides a firm grounding in the theory of object orientation and a balance between theory and practice; It covers Unified Modeling Language (UML), the de facto standard for object-oriented business systems analysis and design and offers hands-on experience by using Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools for real-world problem-solving.
