Description: This course is designed to expose students to research in applied linguistics, first and second language acquisition, and language acquisition in bilingual contexts. Students are expected to engage with major research perspectives in first and second language acquisition fields and to critically evaluation the relevance of multiple research models and their application to languages in contact, bilingualism, language policy, and classroom language use.
