Secondary Education Minor

Program Declaration

Students wishing to declare the minor in Middle/Secondary Education should contact the College of Education and Human Development.

Minor Requirements

Complete 18 credits from six courses including two 200-level courses, three 400-level courses, and one methods course.

Declared major: Students in the minor must have a declared major in the liberal arts.
Pass/fail: No courses taken pass/fail may be applied toward the minor.
Residency: EDC U 230, 241, 460, 466, and 467 must be completed at UMass Boston.
