Latino Studies Minor

Minor Requirements
Complete 18 credits from 6-8 courses, including 1 core course; 2 additional courses in Latino Studies; and 3 electives.
GPA: A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required from all courses used for the minor.
Pass/fail: No more than 1 elective may be taken pass/fail.
Residency: At least five courses for the minor must be completed at UMass Boston

At least 6 credits (3-4 courses) and up to 9 credits (3-5 courses) from Latino Studies course offerings and the list below. Students may petition the Latino Studies Program to have an alternate course that focuses extensively on Latina/o/x communities count as an elective, including internships and practicums.
