SOCIOL 668 The Life Course Paradigm This course is designed to provide an in-depth examination of the life course paradigm including its theoretical underpinnings and empirical applications. The life course paradigm brings attention to 3 key themes: the importance of studying development across all stages of the life courses ¿ childhood, adolescence, and adulthood; the intersection of human lives and social structure; and the importance of socio-historical contextual influences on life course trajectories.
