GERON GR 603 Statistical Methods in the Analysis of Social Problems I This course introduces students to statistics as a social science tool. It is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of descriptive statistics, the logic of statistical inference, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, and correlation. In addition to classroom instruction, students are required to attend a statistical lab each week to use a statistical package. Student should expect to use the statistical package outside of class for homework assignments.
