Description: An introduction to effective, health-promoting psychotherapeutic interventions designed to address a wide range of clinical and developmental problems. Greatest attention is paid to the theory and practice of individual psychotherapy with adults, although therapeutic interventions with children and adolescents and with families are also introduced. The course adopts an integrative approach to psychotherapy, an approach that combines aspects of interpersonal psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and family systems perspectives.
