Description: This course will cover all aspects of the history of Nazi Germany, including the aftermath of the country’s traumatic defeat in the First World War, Hitler’s early career as an extremist politician in the 1920s, the rise of the Nazis to power in the early 1930s, the establishment of a totalitarian dictatorship, the road to war, the Nazi conquest of Europe, and the racist ideologies that culminated in the Holocaust.
