The Certificate Program offers a choice of curriculum options, including four 12-credit concentrations and two 18-credit dual-specializations.
All options focus on developing conflict resolution skills for professionals in a wide variety of settings where managing conflict is an essential part of their work, as well as providing a foundation for those who are interested in pursuing conflict intervention as a major professional focus.
The certificate programs (with the exception of the dual-specialization options) can be completed in one year (two semesters) of part-time study. Dual-specialization options can be completed in one year of full-time study or three semesters of part-time study.

Conflict Resolution Colloquium Series
All certificate students are required to attend a total of five colloquia over the course of their enrollment in the certificate program. Colloquia are offered approximately monthly, for a total of seven to eight each academic year.
Admission Requirements
Graduate certificate admission requirement include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated writing skills
- Three letters of recommendation
- Written essays, responsive to quiestions accessible on the Conflict Resolution home page.
