Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet general graduate admission requirements  in addition to the following program-specific requirements:

Entering students must have the equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, or, they must have completed the following courses (or their equivalents):

  • Biol 210: Cell Biology
  • Biol 252: Genetics
  • Chem 251/Chem252: Organic Chemistry
  • BIOCHM 383: Biochemistry
  • Physics 107/Physics 108: College Physics I and II
  • Physics 181/Physics 182: Physics laboratory
