INTREL 631 - Political Economy of Regional Systems 3 Credit(s)
Description: This course examines the distinct patterns of regional groupings (Western Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, North Africa and Mediterranean, Sub-Sahara Africa). Topics include: the inter-state relations which define the region, with particular attention to political and economic issues; the interplay between regional issues and the broader context of international relations; and the impact of globalization on the political, economic, and cultural aspects of each region. In each semester this course is offered, it will typically focus on a single region.
Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: Graduate Degree Student in International Relations
