Description: This elective course introduces students to a number of issues in the study of the American political system at the national, state, regional, and local levels. The course introduces a variety of the theoretical, methodological, substantive, and political presuppositions concerning research and analysis; and encourages students to acquire substantive knowledge of the American political system and to cultivate a critical attitude toward ways in which social scientists produce this knowledge.
Enrollment Requirements: Graduate degree student in Public Policy or graduate student with permission of instructor
