Description: This course explores the impact of mass media and technology on romantic and sexual relationships. Drawing on theory and research related to gender, sex, and sexuality, we will examine how these relationships are depicted in traditional media such as television, film, and advertising. We will also critically think about the role of technology and new media in developing and maintaining relationships.
